Where did this week go? Especially the weekend--they're feeling shorter and shorter these days!
Baby Size: Over 18 inches and 5 1/2 pounds!
Weight Gain: Not sure--I haven't stopped to weigh myself this week. I'm sure I've passed the 15 mark now though--I can't stall forever. I have an appointment Tuesday, so I'll find out then!
Symptoms: Lots of contractions this week, and for the first time they were actually pretty uncomfortable. I woke up with them three nights in a row. We ended up calling our midwife yesterday and staying in touch with her after two solid hours of contractions less than four minutes apart, but they eventually spread out and became irregular. She told me, "It's too early to have baby!" and we definitely agreed, but the whole experience made me feel super comfortable with what we've learned in our Bradley classes. We both stayed calm and knew to wait to call until I'd been lying down for a while drinking lots of water, and we felt peace about whatever happened because we've learned babies born after 34 weeks are considered late pre-term and generally do very well. It was kind of cool to apply everything we've been studying the past few months! But praise the Lord baby girl gets to hang out and grow a little longer :)
Exercise: Same routine and running continues to feel a little easier on my lungs as girl drops! Although the pinching feeling gets a little uncomfortable sometimes, but my midwife said it was completely normal at this point. Week 36--man! Think I can keep running up until my due date?
Cravings: I haven't had much of an appetite this week--I'm having a hard time getting myself to eat dinner. I think she's taking up all of my tummy space!
